Trust on Farbe Spaces
How verification works
Every listing is reviewed by the Farbe team before it is published. Some listings are also verified: the team checks specific things and the listing shows a badge for each one. A badge says exactly what was checked, nothing more.
What each badge means
- Identity verified
- We saw a government-issued ID of the person who listed it.
- Contact verified
- We confirmed the phone number (and e-mail, if given) reach the person who listed it.
- Property documents reviewed
- We looked at documents the owner shared, such as title papers, a lease or approvals. This is not a legal title search.
- Business information submitted
- The promoter gave us company details and papers. We have not audited them.
- Site visited
- Someone from Farbe visited the property and found it as described.
Checks are valid for a year; after that the badge disappears until the team checks again. When an owner changes a listing's details, it goes back to review.
Listing statuses
- Unverified: Nothing has been checked yet.
- Submitted: Sent for review; the team has not started checking.
- Under review: The team is checking details.
- Verified: At least one check below was completed.
- Rejected: The listing did not pass review.
- Expired: Earlier checks are out of date.
What verification is not
Badges say only what the Farbe team checked. Farbe does not guarantee ownership, title, valuation, financial performance or legal status. Check everything yourself, with professional advice, before you commit.
